Sohail Munir is a seasoned industry professional with over twenty-five years of Entrepreneurial and Program Management experience in the space of GovTech, Smart City, Safe City, Digital Transformation, Digital ID, C4I Systems and FinTech. He specializes in Enterprise Architecture for large and complex ICT Systems. Sohail’s current R&D interests are in the space of AIOps, Machine Learning and Blockchain. He is a key contributor to the Blockchain and Paperless city initiatives at Smart Dubai Government. He is actively involved in developing policies, legislation and standards for Blockchain in Government, Digital ID & Signature and Digital Payments. He is also working on developing Micro Services Architecture for Smart City Services enabling Open Data and API Economy. He is heading the Software Development for Smart Solutions. Sohail have also organized a private equity fund investing in emerging technologies like AI and Blockchain in LawTech, FinTech and GovTech sectors.
