DIRECTOR OF AEROSPACE MBR AEROSPACE HUB - DUBAI SOUTH

Mohammad Al Falasi is the Director of Aerospace for MBR Aerospace Hub, Dubai
South. In his role, he is responsible for identifying potential opportunities, driving
profitable and sustainable growth in-line with business needs, and providing various
solutions to existing and potential customs as part of the continued growth of Dubai
South Aviation District.
Since joining Dubai South, previously known as Dubai World Central (DWC) 13
years ago, Mohammad has been instrumental in the transformation of the MBR
Aerospace Hub sector, cultivating partnerships with leading aviation industry players
and facilitating the growth of the burgeoning aerotropolis.
A multi-phased urban development covering 145 square kilometers, Dubai South
is designed to meet the present and future needs of those who will live and work
within this new city. At the heart of the development lies Al Maktoum International
Airport, which, once completed, will have the capacity to handle up to 16 million
tons of cargo and over 200 million passengers annually.
Before joining Dubai South in 2006, Mohammad held various positions, in which
he was able to gain extensive experience in media, construction, real estate and
Logistics in Dubai’s market. He is a graduate of the American InterContinental
University in London, United Kingdom and holds a BBA in International Business
& Marketing.
