In his capacity as a senior director of the Remote Sensing Department in Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC), Adnan led a team that was responsible for all downstream activities of MBRSC space missions, including Ground Networks Operations and Maintenance, Satellite Operations, Satellite Data Processing Applications and value-added products development, interfacing with end users locally and internationally, as well as commercializing MBRSC products and services.
In addition, Adnan is the Programme Manager of Mars 2117 in charge of strategy development and undertaking initiatives that will lead to the establishment of the first human colony in Mars by 2117.
An accomplished researcher and author, Adnan has published and presented various papers in the areas of remote sensing and satellite image applications. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the UAE’s Khalifa University in Sharjah.
